How do I book an appointment with Dr. Wiffen?

To make an appointment with Dr. Wiffen you will need a referral from your optometrist, general practitioner, or another ophthalmologist in order to be able to claim a Medicare rebate for your consultation.

When you make your appointment you will be sent or emailed details of location, transport and parking.

Please note that for some conditions it is necessary to dilate your pupils and then it is best that you do not have to drive yourself home straight after the consultation.

What should I bring to my appointment?

What to bring on the day of your consultation:

  • A referral from your GP, Optometrist or Specialist
  • All current glasses and details of contact lenses (take a picture of boxes)
  • Any eyedrops you have been using (bring the bottles or a picture)
  • List of your current medications and allergies
  • Medicare Card or Private health fund card (if applicable)
